Cloth nappies - too much effort?

I was recently told that using cloth nappies is too much effort - but I strongly disagree! Did you know a study proved that using modern cloth nappies only takes an extra 7 minutes a day? If you only wash your nappies every 2nd or 3rd day, it's really not that much effort - if you used disposable nappies, you would have to take the nappy to the bin, and if you're baby has done a poo, you're supposed to scrape off as much as possible into the toilet (although most parents I know don't do this...). This is pretty much the same as using modern cloth nappies, except instead of taking the nappy to the bin, you take it to the nappy bucket. With no pins, covers, or other bits and pieces to worry about with modern cloth nappies, they are as easy to use as disposables!
